Question:Can you provide the specific Code Requirements for the number of Restroom Facilities (Male & Female) Pre and Post Security in Terminal 5?
Answer:There are no specific code requirements for Airports, Pre-Security and Security for restrooms. We generally use the code for Large Assembly Bldgs. And usually use one of the most restrictive categories. For occupancy you can figure
20sq. ft. per person (p.146, 2008 Chicago Bldg. Code).
